Wargrave On Thames
Cycling
Whether you approach H’ARTISAN from the North (A4) or from the South (A4130), we are very easy to find on the main road passing through Wargrave, namely The Wargrave Road (funny that!). Once here you will be able to make use of our handy indoor bike racks, cycling workshop and our ‘Routes & Rides’ feature showing you all the best local cycling routes.
Parking
Wargrave has a 30 space surface car park just off School Lane (when you reach the Wargrave traffic lights) – turn right up School Lane and the car park is 100 yards up on your left. Alternatively there is free parking (up to 2 hours) for 10 cars on the High Street outside H’ARTISAN and also another 10 free car spaces (up to 2 hours) down Church Street (turn left at the Wargrave traffic lights). H’ARTISAN is located right in the heart of Wargrave High Street opposite the Woodclyffe Hall – Please see the annotated map above.
Train
If you are arriving by train Wargrave Station is just a few minutes walk from H’ARTISAN. On arrival at Wargrave Station walk up Station Road and either walk along Wargrave High Street (A321 over the traffic lights) and H’ARTISAN is 50 yards up on your right or for a lovely little walk you can walk on the path across The Green, past the Edwin Lutyens designed Wargrave War Memorial to pay your respects and past the beautiful St Mary’s Church (on your left). The path will take you to the right where you will reach the bottom of Church Street at the traffic light junction. Turn left and H’ARTISAN is 50 yards on the right in the heart of Wargrave High Street.
Bus
There is a bus stop directly opposite H’ARTISAN, outside the Woodclyffe Hall. The stop is serviced by the 850 (Reading to High Wycombe) and S850 (Reading – Henley-On-Thames). Please check timetables for availability (S850 / 850).
