Rapha – The story
Founded by Simon Mottram in London in 2004, Rapha makes the world’s finest cycling clothing. For 15 years, their products have redefined comfort, performance, and style for cyclists from absolute beginners through to WorldTour professionals.
Born from a love of the sport, Rapha regularly organises and sponsors unique rides and events. The Rapha Cycling Club was founded in 2015 to bring cyclists together, and today there are already more than 17,000 members worldwide. The 22 Clubhouses across Europe, North America and Asia have become hubs for RCC members and local cyclists, offering a café space and stocking the latest products.
Rapha is proud to have worked with the sport’s best athletes from its earliest days. First, as title sponsor to the British UCI Continental team Rapha-Condor from 2005 to 2012, then as clothing supplier to Team Sky from 2012 to 2016. Rapha continue to work at the top tiers of professional cycling with the women’s UCI WorldTour team CANYON//SRAM since 2016, and, after publishing a two-year study on the state of the sport titled the Rapha Roadmap, they have returned to the men’s WorldTour with EF Education First Pro Cycling from 2019. This year, Rapha has launched two key new initiatives.

The Rapha Cycling Club (RCC) is a global community of cyclists, run by Rapha and made up of over 17,000 members around the world. Founded in 2015, the club continues to expand, with members, all committed to making the most of their riding, meeting for thousands of rides each week. Wherever they are, the RCC aims to facilitate their rides with a network of meeting points.
The RCC partner cafés provide a place for RCC members to meet, refuel and ride out. They become a focal point for communities, integrated into the RCC schedules and routes and known by members as the best place in the area to stop.

Best of all H’ARTISAN will be offering the same coffee experience as you would receive in a Rapha Clubhouse.
H’ARTISAN will be serving Finca La Colombia which lies within Colombia’s famous Antioquia Department, an area famous for spectacular coffees and equally spectacular cycling. This classically sweet, zingy Caturra and Colombia cultivar washed lot is a wonderful example of the incredible coffee produced in the region.
Managed by Gonzalo, consistency and quality across every element of production is higher than ever before. Through close work with the importer’s partner better access has been created to the region, seeing a welcome increase in income and sales for the farm and surrounding producers.
